Biography

Amy is a commercial contracts and corporate attorney with more than two decades of experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of B2B, B2C and other contracts. Both a Southern California Super Lawyer and Pasadena Top Lawyer, her practice at LeBeau Thelen focuses on assisting entrepreneurs to hone their vision, navigate challenges and support their business at every stage of its life cycle, from formation to dissolution, whether sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies or corporations. She also assists clients with their estate planning needs, including wills, trusts, pet trusts and other instruments to create a holistic plan that accounts for the entirety of each client's family and circumstances.

Prior to focusing on transactional work, Amy was a litigator (and now views all of her clients' contracts as opportunities to avoid court in the first place). She has experience in all stages of trial and appellate litigation - both state and federal, plaintiff and defense - handling contract, tort, statutory and constitutional claims.

Amy is currently licensed in both California and Illinois. When she isn't working, Amy is active with multiple bar associations, volunteers with the Pasadena Museum of History and serves as pro bono counsel for the Pasadena International Film Festival.
