Biography

Kelly A. Lazerson, an attorney since 1990, joined the firm in 2016 from the public sector, most recently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Legal Service focusing on personnel and employment issues for school and community college districts. Ms. Lazerson also served as the Legal Research Attorney/Alternative Dispute Resolution Administrator for the Kern County Superior Court. Prior to her service in the public sector, she worked in private practice as an employment law attorney.

Ms. Lazerson's practice focuses on a wide range of employment law matters and civil litigation, including handling discrimination, wrongful termination and wage and hour litigation, appeals and administrative writs.

Ms. Lazerson has served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Bakersfield, teaching education law, and has provided numerous training seminars to public and private employers, management personnel and school administrators. She has also served as a mediator and judge pro tem.
